Anyways...

Anyways, I haven't posted a blog in a while so I figured I probably should. My dilemma has been (at least for the past 5 minutes) has been whether to post this post on the family web page blog thing and just abandon this one, or to keep the two separate. I still think it would be easier for people to see it if it was on the family page... but I've already got this one going... life is so difficult when making decisions... I guess ideally I should figure out a way to attach this blog to the family site. One day maybe.
Anyways, so the other day I was playing around on my computer... doing homework or something... and my wireless mouse stopped working, like just after I dropped it... -side note, I always drop my mouse... probably not a good thing- but it stopped working! I got a little depressed, I tried like everything, repluging it in, pressing the reset button, taking the battery out and then putting it back in... nothing worked. So, somehow I got the the idea that the lazer in the mouse was askew somehow and that if I banged it hard enough in the right place it would work again... -I think it was late and I was tired- so I started just banging my mouse around, throwing it on the floor and hitting it every way I could think of and then I would see if it worked... it never did... so eventually I got into my head that "all well, its broken... might as well operate on it" -not a good idea- but I got out my little pocket knife and started cutting out parts when I realized that I should probably change the battery, -genius right?- and sure enough, when I replaced the battery it worked. Thats the amazing part! It worked! After all I had just put it through it was a faithful little mouse and held on to life, I'm convinced, its a good mouse.
Moral of the story... when its late and physics homework has drained you of all common sense, don't try to fix things, just wait till tomorrow.

And on comes the winter...

Well, fall semester has come and gone, the leaves have all fallen and the snow has come down... (this sounds like a book or something) Anyways, I just got through the first day of all of my classes and for the most part I think I am going to have a great winter semester. There is one class that scares me and its western political heritage... it sounds interesting but after the first day I must admit I am a little scared. Its gonna be a lot of work. Last semester I took 13 credits and got a 3.55 GPA, which actually makes me mad because I got a 89% in my morals class... SO close! but I also got a B in my calculus class which makes me happy, so I guess it evens out.
After Christmas break I came back to BYU and oh my it was cold... like really cold. Good thing I have sweet boots, good sweaters, a scarf, benie and awesome ear muffs/headphones to keep me warm. I went to my first class on Monday without any ear protection and holy smokes, I thought my ears would break off they were so cold. It was mostly so cold because the temperature was below freezing and there was a good strong wind (the kind that blows snow into your eyes so hard it hurts) but today its much better.
So at the start of the semester EVERYONE goes food shopping and book shopping. Well blasted, everyone means me too and also super long lines with little selection. At the creamery (because that is the closest place to walk to and no one wants to drive in the snow) I went to get eggs and there was only one carton left... and I couldnt find any top rommin. So I had to stand in line forever just for a gallon of milk and eggs. Kinda depressing. But other than that life is great.
Anyways, Thats me at school...
